Hooray, the 4th is over!

What we needed after the last couple months was some downtime. We decided to go camping. At first, it was just going to be out the road, sleep in a tent or vehicle, easy peasy. But in talking to ryan welde, we discovered we could take advantage of a friend's cabin on duncan canal. So we did just that. Mike boggs knows the guy, we were able to use his boat and everything. We left on friday as soon as i got off work, and returned saturday afternoon. It was lovely. The evening included a big pan of lasagna, many beers, a game called "loser" in which a few unknown secrets became known, passing out around midnight, and getting some hard, good sleep. It was so nice to just be surrounded by quietness and fresh air. I almost wish i had forgotten something so i had an excuse to go back soon.
