I sat down to write a post earlier this evening, and was shown a screen saying "Blogger is temporarily down due to scheduled maintenance." It does feel nice to be wanted.

I really dont have much to say. I put in about 15 hours of overtime at my regular job this last week, and spent a total of eight hours playing music at kitos in zieaks absence. Friday night was a fun crowd, they wanted a lot of hip-hop and rap and shook the floor all night from 10 on. At the after-hours Levy let me give him a sharpie goatee and sideburns, in exchange for a henna work on my hand.
Saturday morning i got a call from Ang that there was a great garage sale going on out at papkes. I drove out to check it out, and scored a really neat vintage liter coke bottle and some books. There was a huge moose lodge convention here this weekend, and on saturday night the ladies were ready to party. It was quite a sight, a bunch of middle-aged women in ballroom-type gowns requesting "baby got back" and dirty dancing with bathroom slippers on. More power to them.
Today i did chores and packed up stinky, saw-dusty equipment from kitos since we wont be around for the next three weekends. This evening i spent playing around with this program, ripping clips from old 80's movies and cartoons. The intent is to eventually be able to project them onto a screen while zieak is djing. I'd like to get my hands on some animae, and there'll be plenty of kung-fu in there too. Oh yeah, if you havent checked out the gi joe psa's, you'd better. Its passing the time anyway. I have no exciting pictures to post of sibling roadtrips or sorority hijinks, so you'll have to check out zieak or karna for that.
