like a good cheerleader...

I have "bounce" and "cheer" on the brain. We have mountains of laundry that need laundered. Our sewer system is clogged. Ollie hasnt shown his fat little butt all morning or afternoon. Otherwise, things are fantastic! My sister and zieaks buddy from high school arrive on wednesday. It was actually sunny for part of today, and the forecast calls for some nice weather next week. Rumor has it there are only two or three brave men who are doing the viking thing this year, with possibly twelve valkyries. Another good reason for me not to join up. I can forsee my liver receiving enough abuse already. Bailee, four days is just not enough, but i'm grateful i get any at all.

Here is our beer fridge in preparation for the party we're throwing tomorrow night: Corona - check. Pacifico - check. 7 layer dip - check. Extremely tasty and smelly homemade salsa - check. Not pictured are the bottles of margarita mix, tequila, and many many limes. We are expecting 20 people for sure, with about 15 more possible attendees. Should be quite a fiesta.

Did Billy Joel die or something?

I could not get away from the man yesterday. One of his cd's has been playing in my bosses truck for the last couple of weeks, and i use it twice a day for post office/hospital runs. At lunch at our restaurant yesterday, they happened to have the station tuned to easy listening, and on comes one of billy's classics. Then after my workout i plopped down in zieaks office, only to have the muffled tune of "my life" haunt me from inside the gymnasium. I think i'll be hitting the eject button when i climb into the ol' toyota this morning.
